Victoria Horton – ‘Tor’

Tor joined Addisons over 15 years ago and primarly focuses on our restaurant customers. However, being a true family business, Tor is often asked for help and advice on wine selection by friends!

Back in 2005 Dave asked his wife ‘Tor’ whether she would be interested in processing Addison’s weekly payroll, ‘only half a day a week’ he said. Having just had her second son Will she decided to take him up on his proposal, it would be good to get back into the world of work she thought – little did she know where it would take her….

15 years later and many miles travelled Tor is now and has been for the past 7 years ‘out on the road’. Having dabbled in some of Addison’s more office-based roles the next natural step was to help develop the on-trade side of the business. Sharing a similar genuine and friendly sales approach to Dave she was an instant hit. Three days a week soon became five and Addison’s
portfolio of on-trade customers flourished. Her ethos that ‘the customer always comes first’ has won her much loyalty and her attention to detail (inherited from her publishing roots) is respected far and wide.

Busy keeping ‘all the plates spinning’ Tor loves a good walk, spending time with friends and joining Dave at the helm whenever afloat. Partial to a glass or two of Provence Rosé with a bbq or a Pinot Noir next to the log burner.
