Hand harvested in small baskets, selected lots of grapes are used for this wine to maximize flavour concentration. Rounded and inviting, this is classic top-notch Argentine Malbec
Established in 1890 by Pascual Toso from Piemonte in Italy, this is one of the oldest and most prestigious wineries in Argentina. Owning more than 400 hectares at Las Barrancas within the Mendoza River highland, this dry region with warm summers, cold winters, and excellent sunlight levels create the perfect environment for development of flavour. All fruit is handpicked at optimum ripeness, with the grapes for the Reserve wines coming from vines over 40-year-old, with only natural yeasts used.
Toso was awarded IWSC Argentinean Wine Producer of the Year in 2007, as well as winning numerous international wine show medals every year.
