The Den Pinotage Rose, Painted Wolf
A bright fruity wine with strawberry, cherry and cranberry flavours, a gentle underlying minerality and a fresh lingering finish.
It is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor if you are under the age of 18.
The grapes are hand harvested into small baskets and taken to the cellar where they are destalked, gently crushed, and cooled before being left on skins for roughly 6 hours. Juice is then drawn off the skins and cold fermented in tank
Established by fanatical winemakers and conservationists Jeremy and Emma Borg and inspired by the successful social dynamics of an African wild dog pack, this ‘pack’ of passionate grape growers, artists and conservationists celebrates wine and African wildlife. Jeremy crafts wines from Paarl, Stellenbosch and the Coastal Region with a distinctive South African feel, concentrating around two benchmark varietals in Chenin and Pinotage. This is all combined with organic or near organic practices, low yielding vines and stunning personalised artwork on all of the range.
