Chateauneuf du Pape `Combes d’Arnevels’, Quiot

Deep crimson in colour with ripe dark berries and spices. Smooth and persistent with aromatic fullness.

It is an offence to purchase or attempt to purchase alcoholic liquor if you are under the age of 18.

This 25 hectare plot has remained in the very highly regarded Quiot family estate since the mid-18th Century and provides the four key grape varieties for the typical blend of Grenache, Cinsault, Mourvedre and Syrah.  The approachability and generosity of the rich wild berry fruit flavours and long smooth mouthfeel that ensured there was no hesitation in taking this wine onto the list, a real crowd pleaser from one of the most famous regions

The Quiot family (growing vines in the Rhone since 1784) own substantial vineyard holdings across the region, notably in Chateauneuf du Pape with their exclusive 25 hectares plot of ‘Les Combes d’Arnevel’ which produces wines of a rich, ripe and generous nature. All lovely qualities that are also reflected in their Côtes de Ventoux ‘Arnevel’. (See Regional France for their Provence rosé)
