50% Chardonnay | 40% Pinot noir | 10% Pinot meunier
The nose reveals a wonderful aromatic complexity and elegance. The Grand Vintage 2004 first expresses discreet notes of warm brioche and yellow peaches, then more intense aromas of dried fruits and honey.
On the palate the wine is pure with a refined texture. The intensity of aromas is balanced by minerality and freshness. The finish is long and elegant.
One family, five generations! Each member of the Boizel family is proud to be part of this wonderful story and to take their turn as the holder of the family traditions that have been passed from father to son (or daughter) since 1834.
Established in 1834, the Boizel Champagne house continues to be a strictly family run affair even to the rare situation where only the family are responsible for the blending and winemaking of their range. Their Champagnes combine delicacy and finesse with the richness of a Pinot Noir dominated blend and all receive a minimum of 36 months on their lees intensifying the stunning complexity.
All this adds up to providing a perfect fit within our portfolio to compare and contrast with the varying styles on offer
