Vina San Esteban is a very well run family owned estate in the mountainous Aconcagua Valley high in the Andean foothills. The son and winemaker, Horacio, trained in Bordeaux and is well in tune with the cooler climate style, his wines showing supple ripeness and structure with distinct but well-proportioned fruit characters. Everything just seems to be absolutely spot on! I’m certain we’ll see more added to our range from this excellent producer.
In Situ Cabernet is produced with grapes grown at the slopes of Paidahuen (920 m a.s.l.) and from the riverbanks of the Aconcagua River. This blend of two terroirs offers great fruit expression and concentration.
