The palate is full-bodied and opulent, exploding with ripe dark fruit flavors—blackberries, plums, and blackcurrants. Balanced richness with integrated oak, revealing nuances of vanilla, mocha, and a touch of smokiness.

Velvety, well-structured tannins enhance elegance. A lengthy finish with lingering dark fruit flavours and a subtle hint of spice.

Perfect with grilled or roasted red meats, like ribeye steak or slow-cooked lamb shank. 

Very much a family concern, owners Guy & Liz Adams are involved in all aspects of the business and live on the vineyard only 2 minutes down the road to the winery which is based in Langhorne Creek, SE of Adelaide. They are the 6th Generation to live at Metala.
