Description

The friendly, understanding and welcoming nature of the Girard family is beautifully reflected in their very well-made wines.  The oldest winemaking family in Savigny Les Beaune, now 7th generation with Jean-Jacques son, Vincent, now back in the fold to carry the baton.

His selection of Savigny Les Beaune and Saivgny Les Beaune 1er Cru’s provide an enticing variety of terroirs and characteristics that offer wonderful accessibility in youth but also great potential for ageing.

Vinified wine and matured in oak barrels for about 15 months.

Tasting Note: In a deep cherry red colour, a wonderful purity of developing fruit notes with tannins showing superb finesse.

Current vintage – 2016
