SKU: 33FR3280 Categories: , , , Tag: Product ID: 1595

In the shadow of the Pyrenees near Perpignan, this gem of a Cotes de Roussillon estate makes fabulously good value, yet high quality wine.  The significant re-investment in the vineyards and winery by Jean Claude Mas in the late 1990’s made sure of this.

Vineyards and Winery: 100% Carignan, IGP Côtes Catalanes.  Vineyard age – 100 years old.  3 weeks maceration and 9 months ageing in tank.

Tasting notes – Fleshy yet svelte with the lightness and finesse desired in Carignan.  The vine age shines through with the lashings of red and silky dark plum fruits accentuated by the clove and gentle spice in the finish.

Please note that while the producer of this wine follows Vegan Friendly procedures in the production of this wine, it does not have Vegan marked on the label.
