Description

Vineyards: Located In the heart of the Côte Chalonnaise, Mercurey is one of the most
important wine appellations of Burgundy.  Producing both red and white wines on a mix of clay, limestone and mark soils.

Vinification: Harvest by hand. The grapes are pressed immediately upon arrival at the winery in pneumatic presses. The alcoholic
fermentation is carried out in oak barrels. The wine is aged for 8 to 10 months in oak barrels with regular stirring to gain depth and complexity.

Tasting Note: The nose is already opening out with white flowers and citrus fruits.   The palate shows minerality and freshness and a real typicity.  A good pairing to all types of seafood and white meats.
