Description
The establishment of the Domaine Skouras winery in 1986 brought together all the years of studying Oeneology at Dijon University and work on the wine regions of France, Italy and Greece that George Shouras had put in.
Vineyard & Winemaking – Protected Geographical Indication (PGI) Peloponnese.
Fermented in stainless steel vats. Short maceration, full malolactic fermentation and short ageing over fine lees.
Grapes – Agiorghitiko 90%, Cabernet Sauvignon 10%
Tasting Note – Vivid and intense aromas of black cherries, blackberries, hints of plums, violets and dried herbs. On the palate it has medium body, moderate acidity with smooth tannins – all in harmony. The aftertaste is moderate with a gentle note of anise seed.
