Description
Château Lacombe Noaillac has a more coastal influence than many Bordeaux estates, Ideally located between the Gironde estuary and the beaches of the Atlantic Ocean, the vineyard enjoys a temperate, oceanic climate, and is the Médoc’s northernmost vineyard.
The 26-hectare vineyard is planted on a terroir of fine Garonne gravel – Grape varieties: 60% Merlot, 30% Cabernet Sauvignon, 8% Cabernet Franc, 2% Petit Verdot
Maturing: maturing in French oak barrels: 20% new barrels, 30% one-wine barrels and stainless steel tanks, for 12 to 14 months
Tasting Note: The estates location/terroir shine through resulting in a wonderful combination of ultimate refinement and elegance with the structured cassis and textures more commonly associated with Medoc. A wonderful combo!!.
