Description
In the village of Blaignan, 10 km to the north of Saint Estèphe, this fine property, owned by Jean-Philippe Cazaux, covers 23 hectares of densely-planted vines on a mixture of clay, gravel and limestone soils. The red is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petit Verdot. It is aged for twelve months in one third new oak casks from barrel-makers Seguin-Moreau and Leroi.
The 2020 offers precise blackcurrant notes and a touch of toasty barrel age, all supported by with smooth tannins and a velvety mouthfeel.
