The key assets of this family owned estate of Champagne Moutardier are – the Pinot Meunier, their terroir and their expertise.
Their 18 hectares of vineyard in the Surmelin Valley (Marne) are the perfect terroir for the Meunier which plays such a vital role in so many of their ‘Cuvee’ while the latest generation to take the reins in brothers William and Simon, have benefitting from the expertise handing down from the 4 generations preceding them while bringing in their own enthusiasm and approach.

Rosé blend – 80% Meunier (inc 18% Meunier red wine) and 20% Chardonnay

Tasting Note – A soft and mellow cuvée.  Persistent floral and fresh red fruits (wild strawberries and raspberries) linger on the palate and combine perfectly with the wine’s freshness.
Absolutely brilliant on its’ own or with red fruit orientated desserts.
