Description
Vineyards – Auco’s vineyards grow in dry, rugged terrain alongside native cactus plants of Chile’s sunny central region. Low soil fertility and water retention with ideal climate conditions produce grapes with soft tannins and distinctive fruit expression.
Winemaking – Fermented in temperature-controlled stainless steel, 50% of the wine was kept in stainless steel and 50% was aged in 225-litre French and American oak barrels. After bottling this wine was aged for at least 3 additional months before release.
Tasting Note – Mixes notes of dark fruits, with smoke and vanilla aromas. It has an elegant and well-structured body that integrates red fruit and spice.
