Chateau Faizeau 2020, Montagne St Emilion

Château Faizeau nestles in the beautiful Montagne-Saint- Émilion appellation
between Pomerol to the west and SaintÉmilion to the south, in the heart of
the most coveted terroirs of the Libournais.
The locals say that “the bottom of the church steps in Montagne is level with the
top of the bell tower in Saint-Émilion”

The Château's vineyard is of very high quality and benefits from a magnificent terroir. Situated on a plateau running east to west, it enjoys long periods of sunshine throughout the day and a clay and limestone terroir with windblown sand here and there.

Vinification: Traditional in thermoregulated concrete vats.   94% Merlot, 6% Cabernet Franc and aged in French oak barrels for between 18-24 months.

Tasting Note: Château Faizeau has complex aromas with delicate spice, plum and coffee notes.   Supple, rounded and well balanced.   Generous and smooth characters exemplify this wine.
