Allan Scott Estate Sauvignon Blanc
Allan Scott Estate Sauvignon Blanc opens with generous tropical fruit and the fresh, herbaceous lift Marlborough is known for. Juicy passion fruit brings a lively zest to the palate, while a rounder, fuller texture keeps everything beautifully balanced. It finishes clean and dry, which makes it an easy choice for a midweek glass, and just as welcome at a dinner party.
Food pairing
This dry white wine is a natural partner for seafood. Try it with grilled prawns, fish and chips, or a simple piece of pan-fried sea bass. It’s also lovely with goat’s cheese, asparagus, herby salads and Thai-style dishes, where the fruit stands up nicely to a little spice and lime.
Serving suggestion
Serve well chilled, at around 8–10°C.
About Allan Scott Wines
Allan Scott is a true family winery in Marlborough, New Zealand. Allan and his wife Cathy, a fifth-generation Marlburian, founded the business in 1990 as part of the region’s first wave of independent producers. Today their three children work alongside them. Josh is chief winemaker, Sara works in the vineyards as a viticulturist, and Victoria leads the marketing. As an independent, family-owned wine merchant ourselves, we’re proud to stock their Estate and Black Label ranges.
