Cantina Valpolicella Negrar is a co-operative of 230 members located just a few kilometers from Verona, near Lake Garda. Since 1933, its story has been one of people dedicated to the production of quality wines showing a true and sincere expression of their region. A wealth 600 hectares of vineyards spread across cultivated by the members regularly supervised the Cantina’s professional team. The philosophy of the group is to rediscover the winemaking traditions of the area, giving wines of unique local characteristics expressed in a modern style.
Winemaking - A blend of Corvina, Corvinone, Rondinella. Harvested exclusively by hand. Vinification: the grapes are left to dry for 60 days, to obtain a higher concentration. Ageing in wood.
Tasting Note - Rich in texture, deep and plummy with uplifting notes of red cherry and violet. Spiced vanilla notes and soft tannins perfectly round the palate.
Food Pairings - Great with red meats, tomato based sauces, and rich pasta dishes.
