Founded in 1884 with the commitment to produce wines that represent Argentina to the world for their elegance and quality. The vineyards are in prized districts of Agrelo and Altamira in Mendoza where the excellent climate and the quality of the soils blend to provide the optimum grape-producing conditions.
This Grand Reserve is sourced from the estates vineyards in Agrelo and is 100% Malbec. Vinification in steel tank is followed by 12 months in French oak barrels, then aged in bottle for an additional 14 to 18 months.
An incredible expressiveness on nose full of ripe red fruits such as plums and jammy berries that we see continue on the palate joined by notes of vanilla and the subtle oak ageing. Round, sweet and elegant tannins ensure a rewarding and lingering finish.
