Macon Villages, Chartron et Trebuchet
Chartron et Trébuchet Mâcon-Villages is all about ripe, generous fruit. Fresh orchard and citrus notes lead into a rounded, golden mouthfeel that feels rich and satisfying without being heavy. It has the classic charm you’d hope for from white Burgundy, which makes it an easy choice for relaxed weeknight suppers, entertaining and drinks with friends alike.
Food pairing
This versatile Chardonnay works beautifully with roast chicken, creamy pasta dishes, salmon, and fish in butter or cream sauces. It’s also lovely with mushroom risotto, quiche, and soft cheeses such as Brie or a young Comté.
Serving suggestion
Serve lightly chilled, at around 10–12°C. Taking it out of the fridge 15 minutes before pouring lets the fruit and texture really shine.
