The rejuvenation of this estate was completed in 1997, based in the sub region of Maremma that’s terroir is particularly suited to the production of Sangiovese and international varieties such as Cabernet and Merlot.
Vineyard and Winemaking - A blend of predominantly Sangiovese with a small proportion each Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot.
Short period of 4 months in mainly new French oak.
Tasting Note - Black fruits on the nose, with hints of vanilla. On the palate, open and expressive, shows delicious notes of ripe cherry on well balanced tannins.
