Château Saint-Robert 'Poncet Deville' 2021, Graves
Château Saint-Robert is located in Pujols-sur-Ciron, 45km from Bordeaux. The Ciron, which flows a fewkilometers from the property, favors the formation of morning mists in autumn. The history of Château Saint-Robert is old: it was originally a seigneury, otherwise called "noble house". In 1686, Jean Duroy, adviser to the King at the court of the Parliament of Guyenne, acquired the estate of his mother, Dame Anne Robert known as "Lady of Saint-Robert". It was during the 19th century that the domain of Saint-Robert became a recognized wine Château, under the aegis of its new owner, Mr. Poncet-Deville Jeune, who largely contributed to the improvement of the vineyard. Renowned, both for the production of white wines and red wines that combine elegance and finesse aromatic, the estate has returned to traditional viticulture, switching to Agriculture Organic for its white wines since the 2014 vintage, as well as High Environmental Value Level 3. Cuvée Poncet-Deville, named in honour of its previous owner, is made from
