Chateau de Paraza 'Cuvee Speciale' Minervois
The Danglas have owned and run Chateau de Paraza since 2005 and strongly believe they are making some great wines of the Languedoc.
Minervois is the one the oldest Mediterranean vineyards, selected by the Romans to establish the first vines in Languedoc Roussillon. The soil is essentially characterized by a clay-limestone soil dating from the tertiary period.
The average age of the vineyard is thirty years old while the oldest vines, those giving birth to our great wines, are 50 years old. The family also now follow sustainable and organic practices.
Their aim at Château de Paraza is to create great wines that focus on fruitiness, silky tannins but also great aromatic richness and a balanced structure.
Tasting note - Cherry and raspberry compote notes are backed by red licorice undertones and juicy acidity in this medium-bodied red. Floral and mineral details weave together on the crisp finish.

We endeavour to keep these details up to date but occasionally our warehouse may have "moved on" to a newer vintage and we may not have updated the website.
