Barolo DOCG, Casali del Barone

Produced by a joint venture between Schenk Italia and the Vallebeldo Cooperative under the watchful eye of winemaker Daniele Ress, the Casali del Barone range showcases the most typical wines from the Piemonte Area in a modern, reliable and expressive style.

Winemaking -100% Nebbiolo, aged for 18 months in barrel and a further 20 months in bottle prior to release.

Tasting Note - A refined and rich nose showing plums, red fruits and jam, and very elegant notes of tobacco and leather. On the palate, a lovely balance of red fruits, roses and herbs. The tannins are ripe and smooth with a long elegant finish.
